Projects
COMPETITION: THE POCKET LIVING HOME
The project is a residential home designed for a young professional couple in their twenties. Newly married and settling in Abeokuta, which is the rocky capital of Ogun State, Nigeria, they desired a budget-friendly first home that reflects their aspirations for comfort, efficiency, and sustainability.
As global priorities shift toward sustainable design and construction, it has become necessary for designers to create solutions that are both environmentally responsible and affordable for the average person.
This project seeks to provide an efficient, practical, and cost-effective home design that meets sustainability goals without compromising functionality or comfort. The proposed materials, construction methods, and systems are tailored to local conditions, offering a highly adaptable and replicable model for low-carbon housing in similar tropical contexts.
PROPOSED MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT FOR GEMINI GROUP, IJEBU-ODE, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA
This proposed mixed‑use development presents a modern, visually striking destination that combines retail and commercial functions within a clean, contemporary architectural form. Bold geometric volumes, expansive glazing, and open terraces create a light, inviting atmosphere, while textured stone, white plaster, and selective accent colors add depth and character.
A vertical green wall softens the façade and enhances the building’s identity. Sustainability principles are integrated throughout the design, including natural daylighting, passive ventilation strategies, energy‑efficient glazing, and the incorporation of green elements to reduce heat gain and support local biodiversity. Materials are selected for durability and environmental performance, contributing to reduced operational impact and long‑term value.
CHURCH COMPLEX DEVELOPMENT AT MOWE, ALONG LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY, NIGERIA
The church complex reimagines a spiritual campus through crafted surfaces, natural light, and environmentally attuned design. Clean contemporary volumes are wrapped in calm, welcoming material palettes that celebrate texture and form. Broad glazing floods interior spaces with daylight, transforming each gathering area into a bright, uplifting environment.
Landscaped pockets, shaded walkways, and open courtyards are woven through the site, creating moments of pause and reflection while naturally cooling the surroundings. Sustainable strategies—including passive ventilation, low‑energy façades, and thoughtfully selected surface materials—reduce environmental impact without compromising beauty or function.
Designed as both a place of worship and a community anchor, the complex presents an atmosphere of serenity, openness, and ecological mindfulness. It stands as an example of how surface design and sustainability can work together to shape spaces that feel both contemporary and deeply rooted in purpose.
IBADAN RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, NIGERIA
The residence is conceived as a crisp, contemporary home that pairs bold, rectilinear massing with a warm, livable sensibility. A layered façade that is punctuated by deep reveals, protective overhangs, and carefully framed openings establishes a strong street presence while modulating light and privacy throughout the day. Terraced steps and a clearly articulated entry sequence guide visitors upward, creating a sense of procession that culminates in a generous threshold. The composition balances solid planes and glazing to achieve visual rhythm and natural daylighting, while the site approach accommodates vehicular access without compromising the clarity of the architectural gesture.
Inside, the plan is organized for everyday ease and flexible gathering, with volumes calibrated to support cross‑ventilation and an intuitive flow between social zones and private retreats. Outdoor‑facing rooms and upper‑level outlooks extend living spaces to the exterior, reinforcing a comfortable indoor–outdoor lifestyle. Material selections are conceived for durability and understated elegance, allowing the architecture’s proportions and light to take center stage. The result is a refined, modern dwelling that offers calm, clarity, and long‑term resilience for contemporary family life.

A clear entry sequence, organized driveway, and soft landscape elements complete the composition, creating a cohesive and contemporary home environment.
The interiors are organized to maximize liveability, privacy, and functional flow. Each unit mirrors the other in layout while maintaining a sense of individuality through subtle variations in façade articulation and outdoor space. The upper‑level terraces extend the living environment outward, enhancing natural ventilation and encouraging a strong indoor–outdoor connection. Overall, the design presents a refined duplex that balances aesthetic restraint with warm ambience which demonstrates thoughtful planning, material clarity, and a cohesive residential identity suitable for modern family living.

PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AT IKOTA, LAGOS
This project is a contemporary multi-residential development comprising three-bedroom apartments arranged over four levels, with a ground floor dedicated to parking and shared leisure facilities. The scheme is designed to balance efficient spatial planning, resident comfort, and a strong architectural identity suited to an urban setting.
The ground floor accommodates a secure car parking area for residents, ensuring safe and convenient vehicular access while freeing upper levels for purely residential use. Also located on this level is a communal swimming pool, conceived as a key lifestyle feature that promotes relaxation, recreation, and social interaction among occupants. The pool area is designed with visual openness, natural ventilation, and privacy screening to create a calm, resort-like environment within a compact footprint.
The three upper floors contain well-planned 3-bedroom apartments, each designed to maximise natural light, cross-ventilation, and spatial efficiency. The layouts follow an open-plan living and dining concept, connected to balconies that extend the living space outdoors and enhance environmental comfort. Bedrooms are arranged to provide privacy from the main living areas, with the master bedroom ensuite and secondary rooms sharing support facilities.
Architecturally, the building expresses a clean, modern character through a careful composition of solid and void, balcony projections, and shading elements that reduce heat gain while adding depth to the façade. Circulation cores are positioned for efficient access and fire safety compliance, while structural and service systems are rationally organised to support long-term durability and ease of maintenance.
Overall, the project delivers a compact yet high-quality residential solution that integrates parking, recreation, and comfortable family living within a cohesive architectural form, responding to the demands of contemporary urban housing.
